Lt Gen Case A. Cunningham

Lt Gen Case A. Cunningham is the Commander, Alaskan Command (ALCOM), Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Region (ANR), and Eleventh Air Force (11 AF), Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. As the senior military officer in Alaska, he is responsible for integrating all military activities in the Alaska Theater of Operations, synchronizing more than 21,000 Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve forces across all services. As commander of ALCOM under United States Northern Command, he is responsible for executing security and civil support actions. As commander of ANR, Lt Gen Cunningham directs operations to ensure effective surveillance, monitoring, and defense of the region’s airspace. He is also responsible for the planning and execution of all homeland defense operations within the area. Finally, Lt Gen Cunningham commands 11 AF, overseeing the training and readiness of five Air Force wings with installations located in Alaska, Hawaii, and Guam.
