Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Charmaine Cadua, a 673d Contracting Squadron contract specialist, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Army Col. Dean Denter, the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing vice commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, the JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Aug. 27, 2021. Cadua is responsible for 36 contract requirements totaling $3.9 million with an additional five end of fiscal year requirements valued at over $300K. Cadua’s contributions led to the approval of the legally required justifications and approvals in just one duty day. Finally, she volunteered for Women’s Equality Day, supporting a movie night for the base community. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER's top-performing Airmen.
