U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Stephany Ibarra, 673d Dental Squadron Dental Assistant Journeyman, is recognized as Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Patricia A Csànk, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d ABW commander at JBER, Alaska, March 6, 2020. Ibarra has been serving the United States Air Force for 5 years and 5 months. Since arriving at JBER, she has demonstrated superior leadership skills and an unmatched level of professionalism. During her tenure, she has expertly processed 40.8k instruments for 28 provider directly contributing to the clinics annual productivity of $5.7 million in 2018 and $7.1 million in 2019. Additionally she has educated 56 staff members on proper DECON/ sterilization procedures, ensuring compliance to The Joint Commission and Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.
