UAS training to aid in disasters

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Jeff Rothman, Poker Flat Research Range pilot with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, carries an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) after a training flight as he and Greg Walker, Poker Flat Research Range manager, walk through the launch area April 29, 2010, during Arctic Edge 10.
