Warriors clinch championship despite 3 Geronimo triumph

The first group of Soldiers step off Sept. 10 from Attu Hall along the Davis Highway to kick off the final round of the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Combat Cross Country series. With three other events scheduled between May and July, A Company 425th Brigade Support Battalion “Warriors” narrowly defeated C Company, 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment (Airborne) “3 Geronimo,” 409 points to 408, despite the infantrymen taking first place in last week’s 10-mile ruck run relay while 425th BSTB finished in third.
