ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Retired Navy Capt. Charlie Plumb speaks to base members about his experiences as a POW during the Vietnam Conflict April 8. During his 75th mission, with only five days before his return home, Captain Plumb was shot down, captured, tortured and imprisoned in an 8-by-8 foot cell.
