Tuskegee, JBER Airman perform historic F-22 inspection
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Stephen Teamer, 477th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, operates a portable maintenance aid during a quality insurance inspection with Army Air Corps Staff Sgt. Leslie Edwards, a Tuskegee Airman of the 477th Bombardment Group, and Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah Frye, 477th FG quality assurance inspector, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 14, 2017. Edwards accompanied Frye for his 5,000th quality assurance inspection, a milestone he reached in nine years which typically takes 28 years to accomplish. In 2007, the 477th Bombardment Group became the 477th Fighter Group, bringing with it the legacy of Tuskegee Airmen to Alaska.
