Tuskegee, JBER Airman perform historic F-22 inspection

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah Frye (middle), 477th Fighter Group quality assurance inspector, coins Army Air Corps Staff Sgt. Leslie Edwards, the last known living Tuskegee Airman of the 477th Bombardment Group, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 14, 2017. Edwards accompanied Frye for his 5,000th quality assurance inspection, a milestone he reached in nine years which typically takes 28 years to accomplish. In 2007, the 477th Bombardment Group became the 477th Fighter Group, bringing with it the legacy of Tuskegee Airmen to Alaska.
