ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Airman Basic Ronald Trevino, 3rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron, uses a lathe to train on external threading here Nov. 5. The lathe is rotates a cylinder piece of metal and allows Airman Trevino to precisely shave into the metal where needed.
