Mission to masks: AFE supports the fight against COVID-19

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Crystal Stevens, the 477th Operations Support Squadron Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) Flight noncommissioned officer in charge, changes the needle in a sewing machine while producing cloth face masks for her squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 10, 2020. After performing their primary mission of supporting flying operations that day, the AFE Airmen used skills they learned while on the job to produce masks to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
