SEWARD, Alaska (May 11, 2007) – A member of U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Safety & Security Team, Anchorage (MSST 91111) speaks with a FBI special agent after completing a search of USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) as part of Alaska Shield/Northern Edge 07 (AKS/NE 07). AKS/NE 07 is a State of Alaska/US NORTHCOM sponsored homeland defense/defense support of civil authorities exercise; part of the national-level Ardent Sentry/Northern Edge 07. It’s an opportunity to practice responding to homeland defense/disaster events with the federal, state, local & private-sector team.
