Arctic Warrior of the Week
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Casey Sharpe, holding certificate, 673d Comptroller Squadron financial analysis technician, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Sharpe demonstrated remarkable performance with the 3rd Wing Financial Management Analysis Team, where he played a significant role in the $25 million 3rd Wing financial year-end closeout, led certifying and accounting operations for the wing emergency leave program, and approved $814,000 for 175 Airmen and their families. Sharpe also managed the spousal licensure process, reimbursing 23 members $10,400. Additionally, he was imperative to Pacific Command’s Valiant Shield, for which he obligated $1.6 million, mobilizing 300 warfighters. Sharpe is serving a second tour with the JBER Honor Guard. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top performing Airmen.
