U.S. Army Alaska Soldiers Conduct Combatives Training

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — Army Spc. Bobby Berg, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, assigned to the 9th Army Band, U.S. Army Alaska, subdues an aggressor during a Modern Army Combatives Program grappling and tactical scenario on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 6, 2020, designed to enhance unit combat readiness by building personal courage, confidence, and resiliency as well as situational responsiveness to close-quarters threats in an operational environment.
