One such way is through the 705th Training Squadron’s restructuring of their training portfolio to include the Air Component Senior Leader Course. This new course is designed for O-6 level division chiefs and senior staff principals, taught at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Rent the Camo: JBER selected to participate in Maternity Uniform Pilot Program
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — The 773d Logistics Readiness Squadron will begin scheduling appointments for maternity uniform issue at its Central Issue Facility on Oct. 1. Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson will participate in the Maternity Uniform Pilot Program, or “Rent the Camo,” which will temporarily issue Operational Camouflage Pattern maternity blouses, trousers, and undershirts to pregnant Airmen and Guardians.

Service members provide emergency services during Operation Merbok response
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — Approximately 100 members of the AKOM, which includes members of the Alaska National Guard, Alaska State Defense Force and Alaska Naval Militia, were activated following a disaster declaration issued Sept. 17 after the remnants of Typhoon Merbok caused dramatic flooding across more than 1,000 miles of Alaskan coastline.
