ALCOM hosts Arctic Maritime Symposium
U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Rex McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, talks with Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92), during an all-hands call at the Port of Alaska in Anchorage Aug. 15, 2018. The USS Momsen visited Alaska in support of the 2018 Arctic Maritime Symposium. The AMS was a three-day event in which senior military leaders, intelligence analysts, interagency operators and Arctic maritime subject matter experts discussed the strategic challenges associated with Arctic maritime operations.
