Fishing season has started and JBER lakes are filling up
Rainbow trout wait in various levels of growth at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery, Anchorage, Alaska. The hatchery is named after Bill Hernandez, a World War II contractor out of Wake Island who was a prisoner of war for three years. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army and rehabilitated the lakes and streams on Fort Richardson. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Kyle Johnson)
