168th ARW fuels Fighters During Northern Edge

GULF OF ALASKA (June 16, 2011) - A U.S. Air Force pilot steadies a F-15C Falcon from the 18th Aggressor Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, as it recieves fuel from the boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker with the 168th Air Refueling Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, during an excercise evolution that is a part of Northern Edge 2011. The U.S. Pacific Command directed excercise is taking place in the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC) and has brought together nearly 6,000 participants from the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard.
