F-15 Eagles fly their separate ways
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Airman 1st Class Derek Harris, a crew chief assigned to the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, motions for the pilot to hold his breaks just before marshalling him out on an F-15 Eagle Aug. 24. Three of the last four F-15 Eagles, 19th Fighter Squadron, to leave JBER flew to their new destinations this morning, all three heading in separate directions.The three locations were Warner-Robbins AFB, Ga.; Jacksonville, Fla. and Barnes ANG base, Mass.
