This year's Arctic Thunder Open House committee has confirmed additional demonstration teams for the 2024 lineup. In addition to the U. S. Air Force's Air Demonstration Squadron, the “Thunderbirds,” and the Joint Forces Demonstration Team, four more military aerial demo teams will appear at the event, July 20 and 21.

  • The U.S. Army Parachute Demonstration Team, the Golden Knights, began representing the United States on the international competition circuit in 1959 when the new sport of skydiving was then dominated by the Soviet Union. Today, the Golden Knights continue their tradition of excellence by connecting Americans everywhere with their Army through stunning displays of aerial expertise.
  • The U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command F-22 Demonstration Team, based at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, performs precision aerial maneuvers to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the world's premier fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
  • The Pacific Air Forces C-17 Globemaster III Demonstration Team, based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, will demonstrate the capabilities of one of the major cargo and personnel workhorses of the Department of Defense.
  • The Pacific Air Forces F-16 Viper Demonstration Team, based at Misawa Air Base, Japan, performs precise aerial maneuvers to demonstrate the exceptional capabilities of one of the Air Force's premier multi-role fighters -- the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

“We’re really excited about this year’s Arctic Thunder; it’s going to be an awesome show,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Lee Morgan, the 2024 open house director. “We've built a lineup of stellar military aviation acts and a diverse group of static display aircraft and land vehicles. We're also really excited about the Alaska Joint Forces Demonstration, which will include Alaska’s own Air and Army National Guard, paratroopers from the 11th Airborne Division, and Air Force aircraft from JBER and Eielson Air Force Base, who will demonstrate how Alaska's Arctic Warriors work together as one cohesive team anytime, anywhere around the world."
