JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, will host a Disaster Training Exercise with soldiers and airmen from Contracting and Finance units from JBER, Eielson AFB, and Fort Wainwright. The exercise is designed to train and prepare contracting and finance personnel to respond to potential natural disasters. In this exercise scenario, the units will practice skills necessary for swift and efficient earthquake and volcanic eruption recovery. The training takes place Apr. 22 through Apr. 25.
