3rd Wing outstanding performer Published Dec. 17, 2009 ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Melissa Eterovic-Johnson, 3rd Surgical Operations Squadron, restructured the operating room scheduling continuity binder implementing step-by-step instructions. Her extraordinary attention to detail decreased training time by 70 percent per person allowing the scheduling of 223 patients during the month of November. She was also hand selected to receive training on the joint Army and Air Force operating room scheduling management system. She will be the link between eight surgical suites, eight specialty clinics and 31 providers ensuring seamless scheduling for 3,000 surgical procedures annually.
