Arctic Thunder Open House 2026 Practice Day
A U.S. Air Force HH-60W Jolly Green II aircraft assigned to the 210th Rescue Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard, demonstrates its rescue capabilities during the Joint Forces Demonstration at the Arctic Thunder Open House at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 7, 2026. Commanders will employ units equipped with the HH-60W to recover isolated personnel from hostile or denied territory, day or night, in adverse weather, and in a variety of threat environments from terrorist to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear.
