Joint partners conduct airborne ops at JBER

Two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s 1-52nd General Support Aviation Battalion sit parked at Bryant Army Airfield on JBER, Alaska, Sept. 3, 2025. The Black Hawk is a versatile aircraft, suited for a variety of missions including air assaults, medical evacuations, and airlift operations. Equipped with internal and external auxiliary fuel tanks, the Black Hawk’s range is extended allowing the aviators to better support the communities of Southcentral Alaska.
