JBER aircrew, French Army work together to unload Puma from C-17
                U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Cora Olney, a loadmaster assigned to the 3rd Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, partakes in the unloading process of an Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma Helicopter from a C-17 Globemaster III during exercise Croix du Sud at Hihifo Airport in Wallis and Futuna, April 28. Loadmasters are responsible for supervising the loading and unloading of cargo, vehicles, and people on a variety of aircraft. Their duties include mathematically preplanning the correct placement of the load on the airplane, providing passenger comfort and safety, securing cargo, and taking part in airdrop operations.
