JBER aircrew, French Army work together to load Puma helicopter onto C-17
A C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, on the flightline during exercise Croix du Sud at La Tontouta International in Noumea, New Caledonia, April 28. Exercise Croix du Sud 25 is a joint and multinational flying training exercise organized and led by the New Caledonian Armed Forces. Multinational exercises like Croix du Sud 25 increase the armed forces’ ability to work together across the military spectrum to respond to crises, support the local population, and accomplish the mission. Joint and multilateral exercises strengthen relationships and increase interoperability with allies and partners through shared experiences and tough, realistic training.
