JBER aircrew, French Army work together to load Puma helicopter onto C-17

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 3rd Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, team up with the French Army New Caledonia to load an Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma Helicopter onto a C-17 Globemaster III during exercise Croix du Sud at La Tontouta International in Noumea, New Caledonia, April 27. Exercise Croix du Sud 25 reinforces U.S. commitments to allies and partners in Oceania and raises the collective readiness to address regional crises and contingencies. People-to-people relationships, forged through joint exercises, exchanges, and collaborative responses to real-world crises, illustrate the value placed in allies and partners, as well as an enduring commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
