JBER aircrew, French Army work together to load Puma helicopter onto C-17
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 3rd Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, team up with the French Army New Caledonia to load an Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma Helicopter onto a C-17 Globemaster III during exercise Croix du Sud at La Tontouta International in Noumea, New Caledonia, April 27. Multinational exercises like Croix du Sud 25 increase the armed forces’ ability to work together across the military spectrum to respond to crises, support the local population, and accomplish the mission. Joint and multilateral exercises strengthen relationships and increase interoperability with allies and partners through shared experiences and tough, realistic training.
