JBER conducts Exercise Polar Force 25-2

U.S. Air Force Airmen perform mock deployment tactics for Exercise POLAR FORCE at Camp Madbull on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 24, 2024. Exercise POLAR FORCE, though historically used to test JBER’s ability to deploy and receive personnel, also included significant Agile Combat Employment with PF 25-2, where a mock hub and three spoke locations allowed Airmen to refine contingency tactics, techniques and procedures. Select 673d Air Base Wing and 3rd Wing personnel came together to form the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing as part of PF 25-2, testing and training Base Operations Support personnel and their ability to receive and launch F-22 Raptor aircraft in austere locations.
