The Honorable Peter Beshar, the General Counsel of the Department of the U.S. Air Force, tours the 176th Alaska Air National Guard with U.S. Air Force Brig Gen Anthony Stratton, commander of the 176th Wing Alaska Air National Guard, on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 19, 2024. Mr. Beshar visited multiple units and facilities across JBER and spoke with base leadership to better understand what it takes for the military to maintain operational readiness in Alaska and the Arctic.
