JBER Sergeant Saves Pilot from Helicopter Crash
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kyle Helberg, 673d Security Forces Squadron combat arms specialist, explains his account of a recent helicopter crash in a nearby city on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 2, 2023. Helberg performed life-saving skills on a U.S. Army pilot after his helicopter crash-landed immediately after takeoff and was able to assist him in a quick recovery.
