Arctic Warrior of the Week
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Patrick Sullivan, center, 673d Air Base Wing public affairs specialist, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, left, the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, the JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Sept. 15, 2021. Sullivan embedded with the 39th Airlift Squadron from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, in support of RED FLAG ALASKA 21-3 and documented a mission in the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex where his photos were featured on two Headquarters Air Force social media platforms, reaching an audience of 2.9 million people internationally. Additionally, he sought joint-force opportunities, supporting eleven organizations, including Medical Group innovation projects through Arctic Spark, U.S. Army Alaska support by fire training, and the 3rd Wing spouses immersion tour. Lastly, Sullivan provided outstanding customer service and ensured mission essential readiness and PCS actions were accomplished with a 100 percent accuracy and satisfaction rate by executing studio photography operations for 40 hours in support of JBER personnel and tenant units, to include Canadian Air Force.
