3rd Wing hosts Immersion Tour

Spouses from the 3rd Wing approach the Air Traffic Control tower during an immersion tour at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 31, 2021. ATC Airmen man the tower 24 hours a day to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our pilots. These Airmen can juggle coordinating upwards of 10 aircraft at a time.
