673d IPTS Hosts Commander Immersion

Lee Mills, right, JBER and 673d ABW command chief, assist the 673d Inpatient Operations Squadron labor and delivery nurses on a birthing simulator during a 673d IPTS immersion at JBER, Alaska, Feb. 26, 2021. The simulator can be programmed with a number of labor and delivery scenarios to provide nurses with additional training experiences. The tour familiarized base leadership with the 673d IPTS and its role in supporting readiness. The 673d IPTS provides a full range of medical care to include perinatal care, intensive care and behavioral health services to JBER and the greater Anchorage area.
