Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Dalton Kendall, a fire and emergency services logistics technician assigned to the 673d Civil Engineer Squadron, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Jan. 22, 2021. Kendall completed maintenance and upkeep of his squadron’s breathing apparatus program for emergency responders. He is the sole Government Purchase Card holder for his flight, and his critical purchases have eased the emergency response challenge during the pandemic. Additionally, he became the logistics noncommissioned officer in charge and manages JBER’s flight line extinguisher program, responsible for 180 extinguishers which provide instant aircraft protection for 12 squadrons. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER's top-performing Airmen.
