Arctic Warrior of the Week

Anjomel Portades, a materials handler assigned to the 773d Logistics Readiness Squadron, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Jan. 14, 2021. Portades supports U.S. Army Alaska by issuing protective gear and maintaining the necessary inspection standards for Soldiers’ personal equipment. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER's top-performing Airmen.
