Arctic Warrior of the Week

Moreno volunteered for weekend and after-hours duties on a special snow team, plowing five Civil Engineer Group areas which allowed more than 500 personnel to safely drive to work. Additionally, he volunteered to fabricate acrylic COVID-19 shields for two legal offices and was awarded a commander’s coin by Judge Advocate General’s Corps leadership. Finally, Moreno expedited six carpentry upgrades to vacant hangar space to consolidate Airfield Management and Weather operations under one roof. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
