Arctic Warrior of the Week

Rowland led a short-notice joint inspection to redeploy support equipment for the 354th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. This mission required his team to land a cargo jet, conduct a joint inspection, load cargo, and take off within a six-hour window. Additionally, Rowland is the primary aerial delivery support load planner and dispatcher for the 517th Airlift Squadron, 144th Airlift Squadron, and 211th Rescue Squadron. As a dispatcher, he coordinates aerial delivery mission requirements and assigns working teams to each mission to ensure all execution times are met. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top performing Airmen.
