Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas Ralston, center, a contract specialist assigned to the 673d Contracting Squadron, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Lee Mills, right, JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Nov. 13, 2020. Ralston is the primary contract specialist for the 673rd Medical Group and 3rd Wing acquisition team. His application toward these responsibilities resulted in JBER’s first Periflux wound care systems as well as a disorder diagnostic evaluation program. Ralston has upgraded the 3rd Maintenance Group e-tool storage space, which fortifies training and mission requirements. Additionally, Ralston led the 673 CONS’ effort toward JBER’s trunk-or-treat, handing out candy to 1,000 personnel and their families. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top performing Airmen.
