673d SGCS hosts commander immersion tour

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Alexander James, 673d Surgical Operations Squadron aerospace medical technician, assists U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, in administering an IV to U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Adrian Hernandez, 673d SGCS aerospace medical technician, during a 673d SGCS immersion tour at JBER, Alaska, Sept. 29, 2020. Aguilar familiarized herself with the 673d SGCS and its role in supporting readiness after taking command of the installation July 14, 2020. The 673d SGCS provides a full range of medical care to include surgical and non-surgical intervention to JBER and the greater Anchorage area.
