Arctic Warrior of the Week

Jen Wang, center, 673d Force Support Squadron picture framer, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, far left, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, far right, JBER and 673d ABW command chief, at JBER, Alaska, Oct. 8, 2020. Wang has worked in the Polar Express Arts and Crafts Center for the past three years, where she frames approximately 75% of the center’s framing orders, completing 30 to 35 projects per week. She was instrumental in maintaining full operations when the new computerized mat-cutter was installed. She created a wall mural in the front lobby of the Polar Express Arts and Crafts Center, and she creates and posts the majority of the photos on the center’s social media pages. All of the Interactive Customer Evaluation comments she has received are positive. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
