A squad of Military Mountaineering Course students move from one training area to another at the Northern Warfare Training Center’s Black Rapids Site during training. NWTC cadre followed Coronavirus restrictions while guiding students through both the basic and advanced mountaineering courses in August. With the advent of Alaska’s long, cold winter, NWTC’s focus is now shifting to cold weather training for the 2020-21 season.
