Security Force K9s conduct late-night training
Military working dog Rex, assigned to the 673d Security Forces Squadron, rests between finds during detection training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 24, 2020. The 673d SFS continually conducts training with their MWD teams to ensure they’re ready to respond to emergencies. MWDs are trained to detect drugs and explosives, as well as deter threats to the installation and in deployed environments.
