Arctic Warrior of the Week
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Tyriq Green (center), 673d Security Forces Squadron electronic security system technician, is recognized as the Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar (left), Joint Base Elmendorf-Richarson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Earl Wormley, 673d Mission Support Group superintendent, at JBER, Alaska, July 31, 2020. As the lead alarm monitor trainer, Green established a rigorous training plan which enabled seven Airmen to pass their initial qualification with a 95-percent average. Green was hand-picked to fill his current ESS position where he is one of two Airmen responsible for the largest alarm system in the Pacific Air Forces. The AWOW is an award highlighting JBER’s top performing Airmen.
