Arctic Warrior of the Week award

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Norbu Tsering, 673d Inpatient Operations Squadron aerospace medical technician, received the Arctic Warrior of the Week award from U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, at JBER, Alaska, July 24, 2020. While deployed to the 36th Expeditionary Medical Support joint service COVID-19 pandemic response team at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Tsering’s attention to detail contributed to the detection of 1,300 positive COVID-19 test results with a less than 0.3% sample rejection rate.
