Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Makayla Smith, 773d Logistics Readiness Squadron travel center counselor, is recognized as Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Patricia A. Csànk, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d ABW commander at JBER, Alaska, Feb. 28, 2020. Smith is responsible for providing outstanding customer service for JBER in the Household Good & Passenger Travel section. Additionally, she performs in-checking and manifesting for the Cargo Deployment Function and has supported numerous exercises and cargo deployments to include POTUS support. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
