Airmen, and distinguished guests gather at an aircraft hangar on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 8, 2020, during a ceremony honoring Air Force Master Sgt. Jehu Forte, assigned to the 703rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, as he is awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement by Air Force Col. Robert Davis, the 3rd Wing commander, for his actions during a deployment in support of U.S. and coalition forces in the Middle East. Master Sgt. Forte distinguished himself by meritorious achievement as a Tactical Operations Superintendent and Air Advisor, and placed himself at risk numerous times while engaged in operations against an opposing armed force to expertly carryout his mission-critical duties in support of operations Inherent Resolve and Deliberate Resolve.
