Arctic Warrior of the Week
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Demauray McClanahan, a 673d Medical Operations Squadron physical medicine technician, is recognized as Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Army Col. Dean Denter, 673d Air Base Wing and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson vice commander, as the Arctic Warrior of the Week at JBER, Alaska, Dec. 27, 2019. McClanahan is one of the lead instructors for a mobility course which is offered by our physical therapy clinic and involves foam rolling, soft tissue, and self-maintenance prevention techniques. He is a lead instructor for the Physical Training Rehabilitation Course where he was recently part of integrating professionals to speak on diet and sports psychology. McClanahan is a certified Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor and was selected to promote to senior airman below the zone in the summer of 2019. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
