Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Isaiah Torres, 773rd Civil Engineer Squadron pavements and equipment operator, is recognized as Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Army Col. Dean Denter, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing vice commander, at JBER, Alaska, Nov. 15, 2019. Torres contributed to the planning and layout of a proposed regional training site on the installation. Torres also completed a vehicle safety inspection with the 673d Logistics Readiness Squadron to ensure 100-percent compliance on a 272-vehicle fleet valued at $55 million. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
