Arctic Warrior of the Week

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jherron M. Parks-Harris, 673d Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels laboratory technician, is recognized as Arctic Warrior of the Week by U.S. Air Force Col. Patricia A. Csànk, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander at JBER, Alaska, Nov. 1, 2019. Parks-Harris performed 150 fuel sampling and testing operations on 32 refueling units and 14 bulk storage tanks, guaranteeing that Air Force fuel standards were met and product was one hundred percent on-specification. In addition, he is responsible for the quality control of 12 million gallons of JP-8 jet fuel, valued at $35 million. The Arctic Warrior of the Week is an award highlighting JBER’s top-performing Airmen.
