MRI suite ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrates remodel and upgrades

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. The MRI area remodel included the creation of one joint control room, rather than the former two control rooms in separate areas; an upgraded 1.5 Tesla GE scanner; and newer patient amenities such as dressing rooms, a reception desk, a waiting area, and murals and lighting in the scanner rooms for patient comfort.
